15 SITES FOR DIVERSE STOCK PHOTOS

Working in the diversity/equity/inclusion (DEI) field, I try my best to make my flyers and presentations inclusive of people from different backgrounds and cultures. However, many of the stock photo options in programs do not always have an abundance of Black and Brown people. Why does this even matter? Folks like to be seen and representation matters. So…after some digging, I found 15 different websites that offer free and not-free that provide culturally diverse stock photos. Read below to find out more. If you like what you see, download a few photos and step up your presentation/flyer/content creation game.

Homework…..

One of the best things you can do is support photographers and content creators of Color (i.e., Black, Brown, Indigenous, etc.) and LGBTQIA2S+ creators by patronizing their work. Many sites, like Unsplash provide the name of the photographer and you can follow their information to directly support their work. Find one (1) photographer/content creator you like, amplify and support their work.
